Here in Kissimmee, Florida there is a guy with 2 P51's and some others and not only can you fly in the but he will teach you how to fly the P51... almost everyone that owns a P51 (including Tom Cruise) we're taught to fly by this guy. But it's VERY expensive, like 4k or somethingComment

Very cool, lucky guy. Actually that thing can do about 450mph which is pretty wild.....
As an ex Army officer, I've gotten lots of "free?" helicopter rides. My fantasy is to go up in a high performance fighter some day.....

That's really cool
I grew up around P-51's : my father was a crew chief for one back in the day and whenever an airshow was within a day's drive of us (or longer, as in the case of roadtrips to the Smithsonian Air & Space museum in Washington or the Air Force museum @ Wright-Patterson) we were there.
Nothing sounds like a P-51 and its finely tuned Rolls Royce Merlin V-12 roaring overheadComment
