??? How did this business stop you? It should have given you enough working capital to pursue what you wanted. In my hometown there is the biggest, most prestigious culinary school in the western hemisphere. There are guys there that killed people and got out of jail and are now respected chefs.
I'm sure there are enough GFY'ers here who either own or know people who own fine restaurants.
One thing about being a master chef is just start cooking. Word will spread so fast it'll make your head swim. You don't need a huge restaurant either. I remember a guy who made a cornbread dressing. His shop was the size of a small store. People FLEW into town just to have some of his dressing. Celebrities FLEW in to have some. He was never out of business. Treated like a king wherever he went.
