        except for sigs - those i let go thru :P
        SIG TOO SMALL! Maximum 1200x600 button and no more than 30 text lines of ALL SIZES and COLORS. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 6240x4800 instead of a 1024x800.

                    Its all about respect for the user of the board.
                    Lensman makes a lot of money from all the ads here I don´t see a reason to piss people off with an anoying ad like that. If the board was struggling and couldn´t make bandwidth payments I wouldn´t have a problem with it but I hardly think thats the case. This is taking the advertising a step to far. If this is the start to something new it will only make people stop coming here or simply turn the ads off.

                                                I've been using flashblock for Firefox since the first audio banners appeared... They were scaring the shit out of me whenever my mouse happened to be near the top of the browser after clicking "refresh", especially if I was listening to music and had my speakers up.

                                                                        Since the inception of audio banners to GFY, i haven't seen an top banner spot on GFY. I'm sure this is true for a fairly large chunk of GFY surfers. I'm sure the annoying banners have higher click throughs, but when you only have 1/2 the people seeing them, what's the point?
