    Just got my Veneers today (pics)

    Well... Lumineers to be exact, it's a newer procedure than the typical traditional veneers, basically it's a porcelain that is about as a contact lens thick and is placed over existing teeth without any painful removal or restructuring of the teeth. Cost quite a bit but it's definitely worth the investment if you always wanted that bright beautiful smile.

          how much did it all cost you if you don't mind me asking?

          I also got porcelain put on a broken tooth of mine, but the color isin't matching the others well, so I have to get it redone...

          also, why didn't you go for rembrant whitening strips and what not?

                      thanks for the compliment bro...it cost just a little over 10k to get it done here in Canada. But my buddy from Thailand told me after I had it done that I should have check out the cosmetic dentistry in thailand...many tourists would go over just to get their teeth done....it would probably cost around 2k to get a new smile in thailand... much cheaper than it is here.

                      Regarding the mismatching colors... I had gap teeth so I wanted to fix my two front teeth... so I had two crowns done to replace the gap, but the colors doesn't go well with my original teeth, since the crown were made from porcelain, so it fucking looks like I have two fake teeth... so the doc recommended me to go with lumineers (www.lumineers.com) on my top 8 and bottom 8, so I did what he recommend and was very satisfied with the results.

                              Believe me that's what I was thinking... I rather pay a bit more and be sure i'm satisfied with the results than someone in a third world country to fuck up my smile for life lol...i like to smile, it's a nice feeling.

                                  dude, 10k for 16 teeth isn't bad.. the best price you can get in the us is about 250 a tooth for veeners.. and yes, they have to cut away at your teeth. i have heard that its not painful, but you are stuck with veeneres for the rest of your life. and they have to be redone every 10 years i think..

                                      Yeah, that is the one big disadvanage with veneers bro... they severely shaved away and drill all your teeth to accommodate the veneers, with lumineers there is no removal of sensitive tooth structure, plus the procedure is reversible... so if you don't like them, u can always have it remove down the road.

Cost me 350$, and I raised my teeth color by "2 colors" or something like that... I'm at B1 I think or whatever it is, which is the whitest teeth can NATURALLY be.
