I have watched it again and again and come to the conclusion it was an accident. There were two players fighting with Rooney for the ball, one fell down with Rooney who tried to get back up very quick and just put his foot in the guys bollocks.
If that C U N T hadnt gone and begged the ref for the red card Rooney would have been ok. Ronaldo did it on purpose then winked to the his bench to say 'yeah I got rid of him'.
