Actually it was more like 200,000 we dropped 2 bombs. How many would have been killed had we invaded instead. Because we had ONE MILLION men waiting offshore for a invasion that would have made D-Day seem like a Sunday picnic.

GatorB you are the typical American moron. If you actually studied history, rather than relying on the History channel to tell you things maybe you'd understand a bit more. I really can't be bothered typing up an accurate account of everything that happened in WWI and WWII (for one, you are too stupid to actually take anything from it), but just remember you cannot simply judge someone from a privilege position which they did not enjoy. Coming out of WWI, facing a serious Communist threat (which was incidentally put down and STOPPED by what was to become the Nazi SA), an appalling economy, absolute humiliation and devastation lumped upon them at the end of WWI Hitler at the time offered many answers. Personally I think Germans take way too much shit for WWII. Some might gasp at the thought of them not being bloodsucking vampires, but it was simply a continuation of WWI (a war which, unlike you state, they did not start).
