or what's left of it. Everything seems to be hitting me all at once, and there seems to be no relief in sight.

Is it always this way after a divorce? Panic, fear, excitement, lonliness, and strange self-esteem issues? I feel like I'm back in high-school on Senior Career Day, staring at all the booths and trying to narrow it down to several.

I've chosen one. Now I'm hoping I'm good enough. is that odd?

Nope, not odd. Sounds to me like a completely reasonable way to feel

We all go through times like this where everything collides at once.

There is a reason for it. So just deal with it as best you can and eventually all the shit passes.

yup, that's exactly what it's like. unfortunately, i think you have to go through these feelings to heal.

i've never been through a divorce (but have seen many people go through one) and thats pretty much how they felt too.
happy & excited that the long process was coming to an end, but scared that they'd be lonley & have no hope finding "the one", and fear of making it on their own with bills & such.
so i would say that its normal Dont worry sweetie, you'll be fine! *hugs*

Bah, put all that "I might be lonely" crap aside and just enjoy some time to yourself and enjoy being single. Do what you want when you want, you get to hold the remote 100% of the time and there's no one to pick up after.

I say enjoy it while it lasts.

Soon enough someone will come along and ruin it
