I know for a fact that a time machine can never be invented

Because if a time machine was ever invented, it would have been around since the beginning of time. If someone invented it 10,000 years from now, they could go back to 1,000 years ago and introduce it and then it would be around then too. I am a genius.

wrong, because they dont know how it works, you might not "take" it anywhere. and maybe they can only stay for a set time period. etc. etc. etc.

So you're saying that you think a time machine exists but people don't know its a time machine?

All I can prove is that there won't be any time machines that I can access in my immediate future. If there was, I'd warp back and punch Mrs. Stodghill in the ovaries pre Dave's birth.

Thats always been my theory , but the other theory is when you go back in time , the moment you alter the future ,your on a new time path. So everything still takes place on the other time path ( thats us now )

well lets think about that one for a minute - you invent a time machine go back 1000 years - introduce it then. You have changed the course of history and maybe even the meeting of your grandparents who were too busy making pit stops building pyramids. Therefore you never were born - therefore you have removed yourself from existence.

anyone with a time machine must take the responsibility that altering the past has major effects on present - that includes even bringing back a cold !!

Its the butterfly effect - go back to the dinosaurs era - step on a butterfly and kill it. that butterfly could have been the meal that is much needed for a bird - that was the meal much needed for a man and his tribe to eat. The butterfly dies, the bird dies, the men die ... changing the fact they cant produce children - therefore altering a whole nation - maybe even wiping one out

                                                  You get my drift timeboy??

I've never heard anybody talk about stepping on butterflies when explaining The Butterfly Effect.

In any case, all risks considered, I still think it'd be a good plan to punch Mrs. Stodghill in the ovaries.

Yeah, that was on an episode of The Simpsons, and its what Doc always told Marty McFly. I don't see what it has to do with the existence of a time machine or not though.

Why do you think so low?

You could get billions per trip. Go back to 1950. Buys some stocks. Come back. Sell the stocks. Live in a mansion on a private island with hookers and beer for the rest of your life.
