The people over TCG are very professional and competent.

Yup, they've had it since releasing TCG 3 (since May of 2004). I've never used it yet, but its nice to know there's a little something to get if you hit a rainy day.

When that kicks in with me I get a bleeding ulcer (Luckily I only had it happen once). They convert much better then that.

Thanks for the support everyone! To explain a little further..the OLP (over limit protection) is set up so that if by chance you are not converting on any given day/week you would still be paid. It increases in incriments of $5 as listed below..
0/500-01000 = $5
0/1001-0/1500 = $10
0/1501-0/2000 = $15
and so on...

This of course is not an open invitation to send us your worst traffic..more so just our way of saying we believe in the quality of our sites/galleries and due to this integrity we will still pay you if you can't legitimately convert.

As WiredGuy mentions above we have had the OLP in place since TCG III's launch in 2004

Let me start by first answering Trent Edison's question.. at TCG we track and display ALL incoming clicks (first page, 2nd page, trailer views, joins page..) however we compute ratio's using the 2nd page uniques.
With that said, using the example teksonline gave above (assuming he is meaning 2nd page clicks 480 and 420) that would not qualify for the OLP payout. The OLP applies to both console or no console links.
