Other boards just suck...

I look at other 'popular' boards... check out their main page... most of them ALWAYS have posts from the previous day still on the main page...

Look at GFY's main page... there's never more than like 1-2 hours of posts on the main page lol

I will be honest
I was banned actually recently at J*M...
Now I been banned at GFY 3 times! However there is one thing about GFY...
If the mod's know that ya tend to wig out they are forgiving.
Lensman is forgiving, Rred and Eric are the greatest mod's in board history.

Each time I have been banned I deserved it one way or another.
I can not say the same for other places. If this is one of those go feel warm fuzzy about GFY threads, thats cool but just an FYI, GFY has a massive tolorance more so than any other.
If your banned at GFY it is often for a good reason not some lame ass retarded reason.
Rred, Eric and Lens think carefully when a Banning is done. This obvious.

Take it from a guy that knows.

An objective opinion from a newcomer: This is the best forum of it's kind, no doubt. Last month I went out in search of forums like this one, having zero experience with them. The reason for the search was to find information on ibill and talk to other webmasters who are owed money. Of the numerous forums I found, there was either very little posting or no discussion of lawsuits allowed. How can a discussion forum for webmasters not allow a candid conversation about a topic that has effected so many in the business? Amazing. In any case, the resources and information here are fantastic. I didn't know forums like this one existed or my site would be producing 5 times what it is now. Kudos to this site. It is awesome.

I would agree in principle with your generalization however, it is also worth noting that there arent that many PURE business boards left in the adult industry and, those that are left, are worth posting on.

Generally speaking i tend to stay away from the top 10 boards on Board Tracker for the sheer fact they are full of fodder to keep the newbs and board whores happy.

GFY is the exception to this rule because as someone already mentioned, despite the abundance of crap that gets posted it is a good place to find and get business done.

That being said, i still prefer posting on the pure business boards because topics actually get discussed in full without any of the added 'crap' the board whores throw in.

Other boards suck because they either over do it with the "Sticky" threads (sometimes there will be 3 or 4 sticky threads at the top, or they will be there for a week or more), or they're just plain over moderated and are no fun to post at or read.
