Yeah, I use them... the owner is a friend of mine.
Yes, the entire hosting company is down, but it's not their fault. Peer1 (their Co-Lo) dropped the ball in a huge way about 5 hours ago and the entire system is coming up piece by piece.

EZProvider is on the case and getting things back up as quick as they can.

No doubt... Shane (the owner) got about 3 hours sleep before having to answer calls from every single client he has.

I'm really glad that I'm not him right now. This must be like hell for them.

Yah, we were down. We had a major power failure and are still awaiting an official response from Peer1 as to what happened.

It was only our 2nd full outage in over 5 years, we were aware of the issue within 5 mins (thanks to our remote monitoring location) and we had staff on hand within 15 mins working on restoring machines and swapping out broken hardware. Thankfully we keep some spare inventory on hand and were able to restore the majority of services within a short period of time.

One thing this outage has shown is that we need to get a mirror of our site up in another location, so that we can post news such as this for our clients. I am sure it would have been re-assuring to our clients to know that we were actually aware of the issue and working on it the other day. We have a spare server in Montreal and will get something setup there soon.

I don't check gfy often anymore (too busy) but figured I ought to post this. And Gleem, you should have my cell # anyways? You've only hosted with us for what, 4 years now?
