It's a fact - english fans are the worst...

So far the Worldcup is a great event - millions of people from all over the world partying with each other, no matter who wins.

Just the drunken english hooligans can't stop causing trouble and starting riots.

Barely a drop in the ocean compared the number of England fans out there. By all accounts it was the Germans that started it but that is no excuse. I bet 150 fans from other teams have been arrested throughout the Cup.

Whilst I agree that the people that go to cause problems are scum I think it is a tad silly to pretend like football related violence doesn't happen throught Europe. Unless you are a Millwall fan it isn't a part of the average supporters life in the domestic league. That can't be said for the rest of Europe. Though, I repeat the idiots that go to cause trouble are just that - idiots and fans of violence rather than fans of the game.

The Brits are at least ten times better than they used to be - today most of the idiots that start the shit are banned from stadiums, a lot of cameras are used to track them down and prosecute them (if they've committed serious offences) etc

Also soccer violence is common throughout Europe, I've been to one soccer match while I was living in Bulgaria, I couldn't believe what happened after the match - the two teams supporters beating the living hell out of each other, the police using everything they got to subdue them and so on, it looked like a battlefield. My brother is a soccer maniac, he got almost killed once because he was in a small town supporting the team that played against the locals....

i know that ultras (the ones that also care for football), and hooligans (the ones that just want to fight) exist in nearly every country and league.

but: so far it's only english "people" that cause riots, destroy bars and throw furniture. While all the others party together. I also don't say that all english fans are hooligans, I just say that all hooligans so far are english.

Why is nobody showing the footage of HUNDREDS of Polish fans clashing with the German fans two weeks ago?

There's been no more or less trouble from the English fans than any other nation, you just see it reported more because of the importance football has to us over here in England.
