    Retirement plan? Mutual funds!

    Let's talk mutual funds I am 21 and need to start thinking about my retirement I am going to be putting 10% of my income into high growth mutual funds can any older guys help me out with this that have been around the block a few times and seen a few things any where I can find some good info? Is anybody else planing their retirement and if so how?

    Buy rental property. Property value keeps increasing, and the rents you recieve will grow with inflation.

      Good Idea for some but sounds more like a business then an investment for me I dont got the time nor the cash for that.

          if you're talking about retirement and are going to be putting in decent money, hook up with a financial advisor. there are all sorts of ways to either invest pre-tax dollars, or be able to pull the earnings out tax-free, and having someone who knows what they're doing can make a huge difference in your final result.
