If you consider how much it costs for a group of people to all fly first class, it's cheaper to charter a plane. If you don't believe me, try it.

I fly first class everytime I fly, I have also flown in a private jet, I know what it costs me to fly first class and I know what it costs to fly in a jet. The price is no where similar. A prop plane is cheap to charter, but a jet is not.

They actually stopped giving cookies and milk before landing, not sure why, but I do miss it.

I don't know what kind of planes you pilot or know about chartering, but the hourly fuel cost on most private jets is more expensive than a round trip first class ticket to any destination.

I remember them replaying it for at least 2 weeks after it happened, and everytime I saw it it was just as amazing as when it first happened.

Sure if you are filling up a cabin full of other travelers and splitting the cost it can be comparable in price to fly privately... but other than that it's not.

Tony is shitting money though. $40k to him is a few hour's pay. It's nothing.
