Sports are worthless, timewasting, bullshit, propaganda. Yes, fifty even thirty years ago sports brought a nation together through good and bad times. But today what nation do we have? It's nothing its a floating hell hole with mixed nations. Half the time we don't even know whats going on but thanks to the "super elite" six o'clock news we know some fucktard we never heard of did something we'll never care about to help.. no one.
In regards to that.. sports are only good for profiting and that alone is rare.

Vancouver finally has a top notch goaltender - they made a very weak hire for their coach - they should have brought Pat Quinn back - Quinn did a great job in Toronto - only the idiotic Mupple Laff fans who always overrate their own talent thought otherwise.I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. As a Caps fan, I am ecstatic about Luongo no longer being on the schedule 8 times a year. Add another 5-10 goals to the Ovechkin counter... next year, he might get 65-70 goals...
As for Bertuzzi, he's got some gas left in the tank, but he is rather washed up. He needed to be out of the Northwest division as it was only a matter of time before someone in Denver did something to him. I suspect that by being in Florida he may find some new life...Still he is on the downside of his career, and the Panthers are heading for the downslope this coming season without anything resembling a big-time goaltender.
Scary thought, going into 2006-07, Carolina has the best goaltending in the Southeast, followed by Washington of all teams...Comment

All in all I like the deal. I like it even more if Lukas Krajicek turns out to be something special.
I am suprised that Jovo didn't get sent to Florida too. Doesn't he have ties down there? Nonis implied that Jovo would have to take a pay cut to stay with the Canucks. He takes a pay cut and signs long term deal now. I wouldn't be suprised if that news is next.
Not sad to Bertuzzi go. Major distraction in the dressing room and I sure as shit couldn't stand watching him gliding down the wing looking for a pass.
Even worse was watching him get the pass, then get all tied up with the d-man because he was too fucking lazy to move his feet.
Allen? Too damn dopey. Doesn't impress me enouch to type more than this
I liked Auld. I liked him even when Clouts was racking up 3 30+ win seasons. Something about him. Big in the net, calm, relaxed. I would MUCH rather have Luongo and Auld competing for #1 spot. Talk about solid #1 and #2 goalies.

Wow.... WOW. I have a problem with this trade.
I think Auld has a TON of potential to become one of the leauges best goaltenders. Since his first minute on the nhl ice I said there was something about him that was special. Luongo is over rated.
Bertuzzi needed to go... but I am not so sure this was a good deal for the canucks.Comment
