Stuff like this happens everyday in America but when you point out it's happening in Iraq by US soldiers everyone seems to get a whole lot more pissed. I think its fucked up that they did that and should be punished, stuff like this gives the Army a bad rep cause of a few bad apples.
But those apples are growing fairly big aren't they?
I mean, they are shooting dogs just for fun, Abu Ghraib, executing wounded people, ect,
At some point you have to stop calling it a few bad apples and call it what it really is.
I have a lovely cat and can't see that without thinking it coulfd have been her ....
Back to Anti-America ( don;t really know why it is always mentionned by republicans as FunForOne and Metaman ... probably a last defense lines).
To put it in perspective, if Brits soldiers would have done it, I would be outraged as much...
So get your fucking paranoia out ...
I know that Asspimple is stoopid ... As he says, it is a FACT !
But I can't figure out how he can breathe or type , at the same time ....
You guys all just hate America, clearly that dog had ties to Osama Bin Laden. Also I believe he had a little bit of yellow cake from Niger in his mouth. Stop being so anti-American.
Fucking american's are fucking gun happy. If they are aware of how fucked up in their head they will get, why aren't there therapists provided for them to have their "release"?!? Shooting an innocent animal is just another perfect example of how fucking idiotic americans can be. I fucking save kill 1000 irakis just to save one animal. I fucking hope those assholes are captured one day by their worst enemy and fucking tortured and kept alive to feel as much pain as possible. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR TORTURING AN INNOCENT ANIMAL, PERIOD!!!!
I guess you never lived in an area where there were dogs running loose. I did. If they would have come around when I was shooting clays, I'd have killed them ASAP.
I place the value of human life, even tree huggers and vegetarians, MUCH higher than the life of ANY animal.
I don't. As far as I'm concerned my dogs life is more important than yours. If some hick like yourself took a shot at my dog I guarantee ya I would have no problem taking you out.

yup
it's war, men get tortured and murdered, women get raped, tortured and murdered, children get raped, abducted, tortured and murdered,
and stray animals....? WTF of course they get picked off! ITS WAR!!! all angles are shit. It happened with Romans, Brits, les francais, Belguim, congo, probably every nation that has waged war on another. It's not America or, really for that fact American kids over seas....it is war.
Unless that dog has been a stray it's whole life it was probably someone's companion. If you've had a dog you know that all they want in life is to be a good companion and unless that dog was rabid what they did was straight up horrible. Yes, war is awful and it twists our soldier's minds but there is no real good excuse for making sport of shooting dogs.
Mmmm.. There is definately a retard and "macho" gun-happy element that always seems to originate from the US - rarely, if ever, from any other country.
Example! Some idiots thought they would play "big game hunting" in Costa Rica and decided to use AK47's to do this. So far, they have killed several critters - most are nada threat to anyone. Also, some of these animals are on the endangered list.
This has included several types of small cats, a species of Tampir which is rare - and harmless, and one puma, which, they were lucky to even see.
So... we now have armed rangers and the next time any assholes even step on the land and are armed or have dogs - they will be shot after one warning and can be shipped home in a box.
And horrifically disturbing. Most people have no clue whatsoever how the government either does this to animals directly or through the NIH (National Institute of Health) medical research lab grants that pays for these attrocities with taxpayer money.
These are the mild pictures. There are pictures so gruesome you can imagine what kind of soul exists in these lab scientists that have absolutely zero compassion for the animals they conduct nazi style experiments on.
I understand and respect the fact and argument that animal research is a vital part of medical research. Fine, but at the least there has to be some protection and policies on how the animals are treated, how they are maintained, how they are experimented on that takes into consideration some basic decency rights to the excruciating pain and suffering they endure.

What do you think of PETA, KRL?
Just wondering. I know you feel pretty strongly about this issue.

That guy Steve is a fucking clueless redneck idiot, don't mention him.

Animal research is necessary, however the VAST majority of the work that's done is redundant. Budget padding stuff, done strictly to keep people working and not to provide any important information. It's an industry, and a sick one. PETA would do better emphasizing and attacking the bureaucratic strictures that make it necessary for researchers to keep performing experiments, ANY experiments, in order to keep their job.
I really think american soldiers act badly and they don't have to I mean uk troops don't seem to do shit like that
I could be wrong though maybe we just don't see it
You could argue that because there are way more American troops in Iraq that it?s a larger cross section of people. Idiots are idiots worldwide. American idiots just happen to be very comfortable with guns.
American troops are also more scrutinized for various reasons. The uncomfortable truth is that soldiers do horrible things. Getting a bunch of aggressive, generally young men together and arming them is always a recipe for shocking shit.
Just wondering. I know you feel pretty strongly about this issue.
Some of the things they do are good, some are too extreme and create the opposite effect of what they are trying to accomplish.
For example, I don't think it is right to break into a science research lab and just let all the animals free. You can just expect them to know how to survive in the wild now all of a sudden. Some are infected with diseases.
I don't believe its right to walk up to someone wearing a fur coat and pour red paint on them like has happened.
So I agree with some of their tactics, but others I am not in favor of.

This is it exactly. You've got a whole billion dollar research industry built on the concept of experimenting on animals under the guise of medical research.
From what I've studied at least 80% of this research is totally absurd and has no real world benefit to humans.
Also if you are going to do research so much can be done in computer simulations. But that doesn't get the researchers very big budgets to use. The animals and associated costs get them way more and larger grants. So they have no incentive to go with less invasive methods.
Also most researchers are basically callous people who just don't give a fuck about animals to begin with. We all know these kinds. They were the oddball geniuses in school everyone made fun of and called them freaks. So maybe do shit to animals gives them a feeling of power and control they were deprived of as kids.
All I know is the stuff that goes on is atrocious. But because so much of it is financed and operated by the military there is no way to stop it. The military says one thing but does another behind closed doors and fortified bases where no one can see what they do.
So for now the only thing is too shout loud and get the word and pictures out as much as possible.
The other thing that drives me to total anger are the way the Koreans kill dogs now for food consumption. Its typically a 30 minute process. They chain a dog to a tree and then methodically start breaking his bones. First they pull his tail to fuckup the dogs back bone. Then they take each leg and pull those out and snap the bones also. Once that happens they let the dog sit there in complete pain and then hang it from a tree and take a baseball bat and start doing pinata type swings at it. Not enough to kill it, just enough to cause further injury. The Koreans believe this slow method of death causes the dogs meat to be more tender and better tasting vs. killing it swiftly.
>> You could argue that because there are way more American troops in Iraq that it?s a larger cross section of people. Idiots are idiots worldwide. American idiots just happen to be very comfortable with guns.
I dunno my impression is the US army only gets let out the barracks when its time to shoot stuff whereas UK and other armies do a lot of peacekeeping kind of stuff so they are a bit more chilled out and act better
It would be "pretty funny" to shot this "soldier" right on the mouth with .22 Ruger MK2. Small hole... brains still remain inside the skull - but well messed. Sometimes human is so inhuman that T3 is more human than human.
Search on the Net for what the US Military has been doing to animals of all kinds for the past 100 years.
They use dogs and cats and other animals for battle wound practice. They suspend the animals upside down by a rope then have soldiers shoot them in all differenet parts of their bodies. Not to kill them, just to place bullits where the animal won't die. Then they bring them back to the medic trainees to practice fixing wounds. This is so the medics can learn to fix real battlefield simulated wounds. Once the wound surgery is complete they kill the animals.
Even more horrid is the fate of any animal that ends up at Ft. Detrick Maryland.
That's where the military tests all the really nasty stuff like nerve gas, chemical weapons, radiation effects, biowarfare, etc.
Its so terrific what they do to the lab animals I can't even write it without getting so flipped pissed off. Fucked up stuff like pouring gasoline on animals and lighting them on fire to test burn effects and medical treatment. Dropping live animals into vats of boiling water for 10 seconds at a time to test scalding wounds. They compress animals down in there cages with metal bars so that they can't move at all and then will release thousands of mosqitoes in the cage to have a blood feast on them to test how bioweapons could be distrubited by bugs. They gas them with posionous gas but not enough to kill them just enough to see how long they can survive with partial exposure to toxins. Its horrible, horrible, horrible, and nothing can stop them. They are above the law.
The governemnt uses about 2 Million animals per year for experiments related to warfare. The lucky ones get killed eventually. The unfortunate ones are kept alive as long as possible in excrutiating pain and suffering and left in lonely metal cages too boot with zero social interaction. It truly is a living hell .
You should read about how they developed some of the medicine and vaccines that so many people depend on today.
I think you may be right. Lots of trees and greenery in the background and those "soldiers" do not appear to be properly suited up for active patrol.
Yep i know.
The funny thing is, because this has got to do with 'the war in Iraq' and most webmasters cant stand Bush, coupled with the fact it was someone harming an animal, emotions take over before people actually engage their brains.
Now if only we could figure out something that evoked such emotion for porn surfers, we'd all be making money instead of pissing on GFY on a daily basis about fake video clips of soldiers in Iraq shooting animals.
I dunno my impression is the US army only gets let out the barracks when its time to shoot stuff whereas UK and other armies do a lot of peacekeeping kind of stuff so they are a bit more chilled out and act better
Trust me the UK's armed forces are no better... we just dont hear about all that often because most of the times there are 'issues' its being done by officers and not regular soldiers ;)
We cant have the rich people being blamed for shit, thats just not British.

haha, wtf? these 'callous people' are called scientists. i almost became one, and i was never into 'doing shit' to animals.

what a ridiculous statment.
hmm, so, would you, or would you not, have a problem performing the experiments done to the animals in the pictures KRL posted?
They're not trying to find a cure for cancer, they're testing ways to kill people.
Not every scientist is the same, trust me, my father was in the tuskegee experiments.

I used to have some respect for you, but some days I really have to wonder . . . what is your suggestion? They run tests on people instead?
One day a huge meteor is going to nail a direct hit on the earth and this entire planet is going to be disintegrated in the blink of an eye. Mankind has become fucked up beyond belief. When a civilization does the things we do to each and to God's creatures the Universe steps in and delivers the appropriate karmic destiny.

Oh, good idea . . . just release products without testing them . . . pure brilliance
You're blind without a cane pal. What product do you think he's talking about? Did you even look at the pictures? I guess they're liberal propaganda.
If you had more than the attention span of a flea, you'd realize he's not talking about products at all. Unfortunately, no matter how simply it's explained to you, you'll never get it. I hate to be mean, but this world would be better off without people like you.
I didn't read through all responses, but has anyone once challenged the validity of this video or is it, "It's on that there ineterweb thingy so it must be true" syndrome? I would imagine that if this was valid it would hit mainstream media at least somewhere? I'm not saying it is or isn't a valid video I'm just curious if the thought ever came up.
Humans as a whole do deplorable things and in certain high risk situations that magnifies deplorable actions in many cases. However, a few people out of several hundred thousand, seen shooting a dog, if in case the video is true, should not speak for everyone in a certain situation. That would be like me saying, well I saw this guy from (name a country here) steal from a store so everyone from (name this country here) are dirty scum sucking thieves. Come on people, I know it's a bit hard sometimes, but think critically for a change.
Once again, I'm not defending these people if indeed the video is real. I just read through a few responses where statements simply seem to be made based on generalizations and quickly drawn conclusions.

Tell me what kind of product requires this? Is this for hairspray or a new flavor of soft drink?
I don't know, I am not there, I have not asked then what the experiment was for. Why don't you ask them instead of just looking at a picture and figuring they are doing it for shits and giggles.

If they can't cope with war and or having to fear for their lives.. and need to shoot any form of living beings for relief they shouldn't be in the military period.
