Thatīs right and wrong.
There may be several reasons to buy a paid spot. program owners who want to push their site, gallery submitters who want to make money. The latter wonīt buy spots if they do not at least get their money back.
But itīs not like submitting any shit you want and earn big cash. Some content converts, some doesnīt. So just buying a paid spot can easily make you loose money.
