I lived in Japan for over five years, and I've been married to a Japanese woman for a long time - I find the term "Jap" repugnant and racist.

Perhaps you are just trying to be funny, but if you ever hope to actually have a Japanese woman love and respect you, then you might consider not using that term anymore.
