    Here are some business statistics a freind of mine emailed me

    96 percent ofcompanies do under a million
    3 percent of companies do over 1 million and under 10 million
    .04 percent is over 10 million. But under 50 million
    17000 companies do over 50 million.
    Out of total 2 million companies.

                  In revenue? In profits? Over what time period?

                  One can infer a couple general points, like a) The majority of business done is done by small businesses and b) the top 1/100th of a percent are rediculously huge, but aside from that... what's the point?
