    FlashMX question. How do you open...

    how do you open a page "x.html" when user clicks a button.

    stupid question, i know, but this thing doesn't seem to have an onclick
    event or anything.

    Got Flash MX Pro 2004. figured out how to create buttons.

    thanks!

    in the action script part for the button, type this:

    on (release) {
    getURL('http://www.gofuckyourself.com');
    }

    replace the url with your own

            It's actually

            function onRelease(){
            getURL('http://www.gofuckyourself.com');
            }

            but yug put me on the right path...

            wolfy, if you have Flash MX, just do a search for the URL and it will be in the scripting window. make sure the scripting window is visible.

                  Foir some reason the Help is coming up in font too tiny to read and I can't figure out how to adjust it. Maybe if I stick a spoon in my floppy that'll fix it...

                      to search just goto the edit menu and find next. make sure it searches through everything including the scripts.
