    non biz thread: oblivion players...how do i cure vampirism

    i hate being a vampire..lol

    finding the soul gems is hard...someone suggeste joining the mages guild and stealing them from various mage guilds around the province.

    is there another way?

                  The easiest way to cure vampirism in Oblivion is, once you have contracted Hemophilia (Vampire disease), go to a local church and pray at the altar for a cure (seriously). If you have been sick for more than three game days, you will be a vampire. There are a few pros to being a vampire. One of the best benefits is great strength. Also, you have additional bonuses and spells. The biggest drawback is the sun begins to harm you and it forces you to walk at night.

                          Been a while since I played... but if you have not yet turned into a vampire, get the vampire cure and drink it.

                          But I assume you posted this because you've already turned into an ugly-ass vampire ;)

                          Can you remind me what is required to for the cure vampire quest?

                          Soul gems are easy to get - you don't even have to join the mages guild, just wait until it's dark. Pick the lock of the mages guild, pick the locks of the display cases that has the soul gems in them and go.

                              yeah i have already turned into a full out vamp

                              a witch has the cure for me if i can find her the soul gems...ill have to go check out the mages guilds..lol
                              im worried i willned a bunch of ingredients after i get her those though

                                  Well, let me re-state that... it's easy if you have high security and are able to pick locks easily.

                                  Just buy like 100 lockpicks and start chucking away at them. Even if you don't pick the locks, your security still goes up with every attempt.

                                  I think there are soul gems in every mages guild but I know for sure there are three good ones in the mages guild in bruma.

                                  Man, was that game fun to play.
