I knew a kid with it when we were in school back in the day but I never knew the symptoms or anything like that, but from the length of time he was out of school I am pretty sure it's a serious deal. Sucks for that little girl.

My daughter has the sniffles right now and it makes me crazy cause I feel so bad for her. I can't imagine her having something serious and I hope she never contracts anything like that.

I know people who suffer/ed from lyme disease. Somewhat common back in Minnesota. Damn deer ticks.

Found out 2 weeks ago that my wife has it. She never got the typical rash to identify it. She got ill and went to the doc to find by blood test that it's lyme.
It's in her nervous system so she needs intraveneous antibiotics for 30 days. It sucks, but she will be better soon.

20% of people don't get the bullseye rash. If you get ill with a fever and your neck or joints start to lock up.....go get tested.

its lyme, not lime, b/c it was discovered in old lyme, connecticut

a kid in my high school got it and it wasnt treated in time, it affected his brain and he went nuts. turns out he went into the woods, covered himself with gas and torched himself, they found him a couple of days later
