SEO People, explain to me wtf is happening.

My site healthygo has been around for over 10 months. About 6 to 7 months after, for a period of around 2 weeks, I began actively persuing backlinks. I manually requested about 135 (all of those were added to my site as outgoing links of course) and about 35 reciprocated. The last PR update I only got a PR3 (this is after I got all of those backlinks) which I assume is because of all of the outgoing links (I have like 1 PR5, and 8 PR4 / numerous 3/2/1 backlinks). However bout a month ago I removed all of the unreciprocated outgoing links which I hope will raise my PR to atleast 4.

Now my question is, why the hell am I not ranking hardly at all for keywords I should be on the first / 2nd page for in google? Is it because I was "Sandboxed" for acquiring too many links unnaturally in a short period of time? Because having examined all of the relevant variables like kw density, backlink quality/quantity, I should be beating the large majority of the top 1,000 results on google for these terms.

MSN I rank well for my target keywords, but google I am just fucked. I'm #4 for "fitness plans" on MSN & #5 for the same term on Yahoo, while google I don't even rank within the top 1000 results.

I assume it is just a matter of time, but if there is anything else I can do to improve the situation, what would it be? Thanks.

don't focus on the PR too much, make sure the sites you exchange links with are themed and relevant to your site... if you get a link from an authority fitness site it will do much more for you than 10 links all PR7 but totally irrelevant to your site.

Also try to change your title, start with the keyword sthat are now at the end and put the start phrase at the end, divide them with a "|"

If you add a lot of quality content regularly and keep pursuing backlinks (try to go for oneways) you will see results, patience is a virtue

well yeah i dont really care about PR all that much, i'm just trying to figure out why i'm not even within the top 500/1000 results for keywords i clearly beat other sites on.

        Hi.

Google is currently running with a number of filters. one of them is the ?andbox'filter which prevents sites less than 14 months old from being highly ranked. You may be a victim of this filter.

I suggest you continue your link exchanging and hope for the best. Keep it hahaha326;atural' and fuck to the hell I'm drunkl

I have several PR0 sites with #1 on google for targeted keywords. PR doesn't mean shit anymore.
