The NBA is rigged. My good friend's Dad was an official who got to ref a lot of NBA games during the ref strike many years ago. He said that they never said to call in one team's favor, but made it very clear that they didn't want stars fouling out or not going to the line. He also has friends who were refs during non-strike times who stated that it was more or less insinuated that a longer series was what the league wanted. They also gave the better assignments to the refs who did as they were told.

But you don't need refs to say this. It's pretty clear just by watching the games. I remember game 4 of the Heat-Bulls. Bulls shot 31-5 in free throws. The Heat had 5 free throws that game and 49 the other night? The league realized this series could be a sweep and has done everything in their power to ensure it will go 7.
