I don't think it's really about the $5, it's more about the fact that you are actually paying for it with a credit card. There is this uncertainty, this fear in the back of your mind... What if the name of the site appears on the credit card bill? What if later you are trying to find a job, they do a background check on you, and the fact that you purchased porn memberships comes up? What if my wife/girlfriend/employer/parents/etc finds out? Plus the stories of people getting fucked by rebills/crossales/etc spread fast, so average porn user thinks porn sites are nothing but a scam...
