    Am I the only one who is going crazy with ICQ5?

    Today I was forced to upgrade my ICQ Lite on all my computers (for what reason, I don't know).

    It's bulk and I hate it!
    I am sorry to all my contacts who message me via ICQ, I'm having a hard time getting messages and coping with the crap software.

    I get messages while offline, I sign on and the messages are all blank. Two different computers two locations two internet connections. Both have the same problems with ICQ.

    I am really hating ICQ5.

    Anyone else want to vent with me?

              Today ICQ wouldn't allow me to connect unless I upgraded. I resist upgrades for the most part as well, this was forcing it on me

                                  Ever try trillian (free version avail).

                                  Lot's of automation in that application, and good for when you still have nutcases that use MSN. IRC chat avail when you need it.

                                      Yes it forced me to upgrade as well. And I'd had my icq lite all custom with no ads and everything Oh well.
                                      I also noticed that when people had messaged me while I was offline, when I came online all the messages were blank. Just the name, and time they sent something! Thats fucked up.
                                      At least I didnt notice it forcing AOL free trial icons all over hell as it normally does!

                                                      ICQ is pissing me off as well. I forced to "upgrade" today as well. I've had connection problems on and off for the past few weeks. Now it looks like ICQ5 is screwing around with IE setting. FUCK, I HATE ICQ!
