What human being wouldn't want to be as attractive as possible to the opposite sex? To not want to be hot goes against our built in - reproduction is all important - genetic makeup.
Doesn't it?
Depends, a lot of people are attracted to different things. There is no 1 "this is attractive to everyone" type of human.
Having that said, wouldn't you want to be in shape for your own personal health? I think that you can be happy and overweight. Why not? there is more to life than just your looks.

You're basing being hot on being skinny. The women I'm with have generally said they feel very safe around me. They are attracted to that quality. In truth I probably don't lose weight intentionally because of that image I have of being the large man. There's more than one way to be attractive to women.
Its really funny how the men in this thread keep talking shit.
Seriously I am fat, I dont like how fat I am at the moment, but i do like my chunky self.
I cant ever see myself being under 200, hell being under 250 makes me think i would look anorexic. I think, if I can loose 60 lbs i will be very happy with my body ( that would put me at about 300 fyi, which makes me look about 240)
There are some people that get off on gaining weight, im not one of them but I do like having my ass.
PS, being heavy has nothing to do with sexual atractivness. I have a boyfriend who is super hot (and ive had girls get mad at me about it. Some skinny chick actualy tryed to start a fight with me over how unfair it was that the fat chick is dating a hot guy, and im not exadurating here).
But seriously it doesnt matter if your skinny or fat your only as atractive as your personality.
And a pic so this thread isnt compleatly worthless.

Are you serious? Are you aware that everyone likes something different when being attracted to the opposite sex? For instance, I think what would normally be called a "good looking" man with no brains and no sense of humor is VERY unattractive. Sexy to me is someone who's smart and funny. If that comes in a fat, "ugly" package, I STILL find them every attractive
Care to give us a link to any of these credible studies?
Christ just examine the words "morbidly obese"
Morbidly:
Of, relating to, or caused by disease; pathological or diseased.
Psychologically unhealthy or unwholesome: ?He suffered much from a morbid acuteness of the senses? (Edgar Allan Poe).
"He's a healthy morbidly obese guy." is a fine example of an oxymoron.
One example would be the recent study on 2168 NFL players.
"Almost all the players qualified as overweight, and 56 percent had BMIs of at least 30 -- what doctors consider obese. For example, a 6-foot-2 man weighing 235 has a BMI of just over 30. Nearly half of the obese players were in the severely obese range, with a BMI of at least 35, and a small percentage were morbidly obese with a BMI of at least 40."
Now, are the "morbidly obese" players healthier than the others? Probably not But they're not inactive lazy fat asses either. And I know a lot of slender people who wouldn't last 5 minutes on the football field w/o passing out, lol!
Sexy to me is someone who's smart and funny. If that comes in a fat, "ugly" package, I STILL find them every attractive
Umm, that's sweet.
So would you rather have an attractive physically fit, funny and intelligent man or would you prefer the fat guy with the same characteristics if you had to choose between the two?
I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...

There are plenty of guys who find big girls attractive.

There's no way two people will have the exact same personality. Ever. I would choose the one with the best personality.
When I was in HS I was little petite cheerleader with big boobs. I seriously could have had any guy I wanted. I dated the skinny goofy guy all through HS and college because he made me laugh and had a great personality. I went out with the good looking jocks here and there, but always ended up back with the goofball. My mother used to say he was so ugly he was cute
In my younger post HS and college days, pre middle age fat days, I dated awesome looking guys (3 were professional models and one was an actor) as well as what most would call much less attractive guys and almost always seemed to prefer the personalities of the less attractive guys. So it's not a situation where "Oh, I'm old and fat and ugly guys with decent personalities is all I can get." - I've always thought this way.
I just stopped seeing a guy who is VERY attractive - but also very needy and an alcoholic. I'm sure strangers wondered what he was doing lowering himself to go out with me, but my friends were wondering what I was doing lowering myself to go out with him.
If there's a great looking guy with a better personality than a not great looking guy, I'll pick the great looking guy. But if the not great looking guy has even a small edge personality wise, give me the not great looking guy any day
There are plenty of guys who find big girls attractive.
In addition, historically heavier women were considered healthier and better at childbearing. Thin girls have only been popular in recent times. Look at the models for paintings made in the past

Am i the only one who is scared? LOL
YOU might think your bf is hot, but i hve my doubts. For some reason, i just cant picture it.
Peaches, the BMI scale does not equate when you're referring to heavily muscled individuals (i.e. football players). For instance, my fiance is a bodybuilder and according to the BMI he is overweight, but this is not the case since all of his extra weight is muscle mass, not fat.
Being overweight is not healthy, you can?t run fast you can?t exercise for too long, you breath heavily when you exert effort?.
Being happy with your body is very important and overweight people are trying to be happy with their life but society is the one that pressures them to be thin. If you are 300 Lbs and are happy with yourself then so be it. But most heavy people would rather be different.
I personally am not attracted to skinny guys, if there is no meat to grab on then I am not interested. But then again it is my preference.
I am 5-4" and 328lbs. I am really not bothered by my size except for when I knock shit over. I am much more concerned about my hair loss. I just got a new imported unit and it looks real. Last weekend strippers were running there hands through it and couldnt tell it was fake hair.
I hear so many fat women like MoNique the comedian who is an easy 275 or more say, "I'm happy to be this size, I wouldn't want to be a small girl."
Can this possibly be true or do you think they are just kidding themselves to make them feel better about their size?
It could be true. Or. Some of us like to eat, hate to exercise, are securely loved at this size...secretly wish to be smaller and do nothing about it because they like to eat.

If fat wasn't sexy there would be little or no nich for it right?
You're defining sexy as skinny... that's not sexy to alot of people.
I honestly think at first when you are fat, its hard to expect because you are different then alot of people, but then again you get used to it, and you begin to like it. I am over weight, and I honestly enjoy it over being skinny, people fear me, girlfriend is attracted to big guys, and well, I CAN EAT MORE THEN YOU SKINNY PEOPLE! HAHAHAHA

it all depends on the person...it's same thing as "beauty is in the eye of the beholder"...it's all based on ones satisfaction...other's feel satisfied about their way of life just by sharing to others, others feel satisfied by being beautiful outside...
it all depends on how they see LIFE...but for me, it's the inside that matters most...
but of course, better be cautious of your health too...
