He's fully in it for the cash and the attention but I imagine there is some shred of truth in what he's saying. Congress has to step into it because baseball will never police itself until it gets a commssioner that really wants to crack down on these illegal substances.
Home runs put the fans in the seats and money to line the owners' pockets. If it aint broke don't fix it.
It isn't until after these so-called 'roid abusers end up dying prematurely like retired NFL players have, that any steps will be taken to clean up the sport.

I'm not going to say whether I agree or not. I was a huge Canseco fan back in the day. Not for the way he behaved but for the way he would entertain. He had some absolutely amazing moon shots
Before knocking him you should read his book. There are two sides to every story. If you look at the players he is calling out you'll see that he is most likely not lying. Each of the players he names had insane improvments in their game for no explained reason. Perfect example Palmeiro. Before he played with Canseco he was average, after he was a Hall of famer.
I think he is doing this to get back at baseball. They blackballed him from the game and this is his payback. The funny thing is the man that brought Steroids into the game may be the same guy hugely responsible for getting them out (even though that wasn't his purpose for the book).Comment
