How many of you know someone this dumb?

So I started my Friday today the same way that I have for the last few weeks which was by getting up at 9:30, taking a fast shower and headed for the chiropractor.

I left my darling Tanker sleeping as both of us have been working until we crash at like 5am or later so to be nice I didn't even wake him up

My vonage phone shows these calls while I was at my appointment and Tanker was sleeping.

No big deal he is a heavy sleeper... or so I thought... turns out he got out of bed right after I left and took our two cutie dogs for a run/walk because the first call woke him up enough to get him headed for coffee.

Sort of annoying to be woken up by a call but not a big deal. We never answer the phone when we are groggy just call back later.

I am home by noon and meet Tanker who is just coming in from his exercise.

At this point I don't know about the first 2 phone calls I just want to get my work done so I am ready for my conference call at 1pm which extends itself all the way until 3:30pm. These are the phone calls I get during that time.

Now when you are in the middle of planning events, and building new products that necessitate a conference call it is important to realize that most often a series of phone calls and calls to action tend to follow one long conference call.

So from 3:30-6pm which is when everyone who I was dealing with was leaving for the weekend I spent trying to get some things together so that I could continue on with my Internet portion of my project over the weekend.

So while I was trying to make all of these calls these were the calls that were coming into my call waiting during this time:

It was after this call that I finally asked my business call to hold a minute. I flipped over to the other line and explained that "When I am done on the phone I will call you back, I have been in phone meetings all day long and each time you have called me my call waiting beeps 3 times causing me to miss sections of the conversation that I am having and causing a weird time lapse (which is a vonage thing or a call waiting thing in general I don't know). Forgive my impatience but you have been interupting me all day. I will call you back at my early possible convenience.

I get yet another phone call at the following time log.

It didn't seem possible that someone could actually be that THAT rude so I have concluded it must be an element of stupidity! I also didn't think I knew anyone who could speed dial my number faster than my mother.

So a note to the speed dialers of the world... if you call someone and they don't call you back right away it is possibly because they are busy and really just can't take your phone call.

It is feasible that they are avoiding you but at least allow a 10 hour window for someone to return your call. If it is really important call twice maybe...

If however someone doesn't call you back after 10 calls it is probably because you annoyed the Fuck out of them while they were doing whatever it was that they were doing in the first place.

Now true to my word when I was done with the offline portion of my day and I felt that I could take a break I did call this person back... I got their answering machine which is ironic in itself and that it is why I am ranting here since I don't think I got to make myself clear to the real target of my anger... To my Olympic Dialer I say
