Heaven knows this Bubba character doesn't sound like someone I want to appear to be supporting, but if someone sells you an obviously cheap pair of shoes for many times what they are worth, most people would grudgingly admit he is a good salesman. From what I understand, Bubba didn't suddenly undergo a personality transplant: everyone there should have expected him to pressure them for something over the top.

That's not an excuse for him, but when all is said and done, he didn't hold a gun to anyone's head. Everyone was there to somehow benefit from the situation and played along: even Mayor and Brooke. And I'm sorry to come down against the girl who was apparently hurt, but she has to be responsible for what she allows to be done to her. If she is going to work in a tough business, she is going to have to learn to stand up for herself.

The "no, no, no" thing... maybe it looked different in the room. If so and Brooke was obviously in discomfort, everyone there deserves nailing to a wall. But to me the video looks exactly like lots of others in which the participants are faking passion, so I think people here are jumping to too many conclusions. The only person, whatever his reasons (the trust thing etc), who it seems certain was not doing his job was "Mayor".

I haven't figured out from all this who agreed the poor deal Brooke was given in the first place, but to be left alone during filming, after coming along with someone she expected to support her... that simply shouldn't have happened.
