    anyone else heard anything about this subject?
    so many ppl r eating soy for health reasons when soy could be doing the exact opposite.

      Thank god I'm an all-beef loving obese American. At least I won't get alzheimer's! I?ll just have to worry about encrusted valves, clogged arteries, hypertension, diabetes and the occasional heart attack. Smooth sailing

        The most serious problem with soy may be its use in infant formulas. "The amount of phytoestrogens that are in a day's worth of soy infant formula equals 5 birth control pills," says Mary G. Enig, Ph.D., president of the Maryland Nutritionists Association. She and other nutrition experts believe that infant exposure to high amounts of phytoestrogens is associated with early puberty in girls and retarded physical maturation in boys. [5]

          Well, I heard beans including soy somehow affect brains function among aging adults. Especially, concerning cognitive impairment.

                not only does it effect maturity in pre-puberty boys, but it also effects test levels in grown guys too + i also heard that it makes your brain swell which applies dangerous pressure against your skull ???
