Only in America are people both vain and stupid enough to consider circumcision acceptable for no reason other than the above i.e. vanity and ignorance. The rest of the civilised world either has religion as a (albeit poor) excuse or regards it as what it is - mutilation.
There are rare instances where it is needed for medical reasons, however even this case is far from clear cut (no pun intended) and as someone said is very possibly a simple case of bad hygeine. It's VERY easy to stay clean and infection free when uncircumcised unless the foreskin genuinely is far too tight.
Oh and for what it's worth - educated 'chicks' dig uncut cocks too. Go to just about any other civilised country and you'd realise that.
