the key word that you missed is "alleged" - in this situation I would take the money suggested to hide out in africa and get a good lawyer - prove the innocence.. then sue the shit out of whoever is accusing to regain your life back.
running away from the law is never the answer if your innocent.
I appreciate what your saying about 'his life is over' - that is why he needs to fight this if he truly has been misunderstood. A webmaster or producer - even working for an adult company not too many question someone's background so he is still able to make a living.
His life will truly be over if he runs away - as long as he is fighting there is always a chance.
