Iggy, do you remember the 928? In the late 80's it was actually a higher performance Porsche than the 911's. It had a very similar style... more of a touring type of thing. They discontinued it through the 90's but it looks like it's back.

I think they are gearing up to compete with all the Aston, Maranello and Masarati buyers.

i love porsche but i dont know if i'm down with a 4 door. but they did do a nice job with that cayenne so maybe it'll be ok

This car is designed to be a 4 door coupe and is targeted to go up against the M5 and the new CLS 55 (first four door coupe)

I'm old enough to remember 928

Its just when I hear porche I connect it to 911 and thats it.
And youre right it just market expanding

normally i'd agree, but nowadays since i have kids, and if i lived in the USA, i'd be game for a ride like this... i despise Mercs and Bimmers, every 1st year lawyer doin 50k a year has one... boring...

this looks like it would satisfy all of my requesites..

i used to own several 928's. In the beginning the 928 was one of the most advanced sportscars. They used to describe it as an ferari driving like a rolls. Its one of mine favorites. Parked the last one around a tree. ;-(
