                    I am in it for the dough. I do not like 90% of porn but then I rarely have to look at it or deal with it. The dough is very good but it does cramp your real life. I am getting ready to go out tonight and I will not announce to the room that i sell porn for a living. One person there will know but everyone else will not.

                    I would like a business like this that I could be open about.

                                        Ever notice how the Internet Porn business is always 2 steps ahead of mainstream Internet business? Pay-per-click ads, Porn first. Keyword targeted ads, again portn before Google. Paid subscriptions online, porn. etc. etc. etc.

                                        Screw school, the only reason to get a degree is if you want to go work for someone else. If you want to work for yourself and get out of porn, take your skills you learned here and apply them to mainstream business.

                                        Mortgage companies will pay a truckload for lead generation for instance. How many really good geo-ip targeted mortgate ads do you see showing great deals in your area?

                                        My opinion is the cutting-edge stuff being discussed on GFY right now will be standard marketing procedure for maintstream business when they finally catch on.

                                            Breaking into mainstream ain't that easy though. Need to learn the basics such as who pays who doesn't, what converts, new traffic sources become available and old ones vanish (the whole free samples for traffic deal in adult) etc. etc. etc.
