I enjoy watching and playing all sports, but personally American Football is by far my favorite. The problem is that people from other countries see it as boring and slow, with too many pauses and breaks. The reason why people don't like it is usually because they never take the time to learn the mentality, dynamics and philosofy of the game. I know MANY people who thought it was dumb and bopring but when they actually took the time to learn the rules and watched a few games became big fans of the sport. It is truly a unique combination of strategy and violence, very similar to war in that it is a territorial sport. Once you learn the fundamentals you might be amazed at how symmetric the game really is. NFL players are todays modern gladiators. No sport out there demmands as much from your body and mind.
