Judge Rowland Barnes. Suspect in court, took gun from deputy, shot judge, went outside and shot another deputy (who is in hospital now), has taken several cars - someone injured during carjacking. Suspect headed to one of the larger housing projects in S. ATL.

what is honestly going through my mind now is the fact that a man can walk into court - steal a gun - shoot alot of innocent people - run out of the building (past several checkpoints I would imagine) - steal a car and get away without one... I mean "one" cop car or helicopter even following him !!

Apparently this was one of the "good judges" too - fair, impartial and highly respected. Treated everyone in his courtroom with respect ... all it takes is one psycho to feel you screwed him over and this.

i just took a drive downtown...they have almost the entire downtown shutdown...and ALL the highway marquees have the current car on them that has highjacked
they ALL public schools on lockdown and a lot of businesses aren't letting their employees leave
