    Blogs - Okay, so where do you promote them?

    I've got both an adult and mainstream.

    Blog Wise is good. Where else?

          Get into Yahoo's news rss feed - find the info at My Yahoo!, fairly easy to do. This has the added effect of having Yahoo's bot index your site .. just be sure in your RSS/XML file to list your main linking pages

                                  Go to blogs that are compatible with yours. Check their blog roll. Link to them, then find sites in their blogroll that would go well with yours and link to them. Send owners emails letting them know that you've linked them. Many times, they'll be glad to link back.

                                              This may not be what they're talking about, but I get hits from my msn and my yahoo users because they've added my feeds to their customized pages. I use this link for yahoo: http://add.my.yahoo.com/rss?url=http...es/wp-rss2.php

                                              I think you'd just replace my domain with yours. Then click it, and there your feed will be. Then go over to your my yahoo page and you can add your headlines.

                                                              Here's a puzzling question of mine... Why submit RSS feeds of the content on your site? Part of the equation is to promote the brand of your site. With an RSS feed someone is simply syndicating your content on their site and if you don't have links in the content that link back to one of your sites, how does that benefit you?

                                                              Another factor is I've heard google doesn't like duplication of content...
