No.. they were assembled from what has been described as a "battlefield" - not Iowa. And... so far, no trials for any war crimes or anything else.
More have been released than had any evidence collected to establish any trial procedure.
Because many were fighting the US on that battlefield - does not change their status to that of "criminals", "insurgents", "terrorists" nor "detainees". They have their own reasons - whatever they may be. You better ask em.
