also they were in a basement and the building was light cinderblock which would blow apart easily and not really contain the blast thus making the effects minimal....pretty much he woulda been concussed and fucked from internal injuries and some shrapnel from the pressure wave then the floor above him would have collapsed on his ass....if they wanted him in pieces he would be in pieces, but they need the corpse to show to people.....
