and yes panama is the same you pay very little taxes those are called incentives to bring foreign investors that is why first world countries irs's are getting bitter the rats are leaving the boat. no more money to fund wars if they let them all go.

Panama is also one of these places which are damned ideal for webmasters and, much like CR - totally chilled out.
It's not just the tax stuff - but generally the lifestyle is much better.
I was in the US and Caribbean before shipping out to CR. Had a great time in Florida but them moved to offshore. It hit ya in the face within a day

It was just so "unusual" not to have to fill in forms, pay taxes and "conform". That bit took me almost six months to get used to - and getting re-confirmation from lawyers that it is actually "legal"
Panama is probably actually better in many ways than CR from a business angle and "looking ahead". Only got some Panamanian corps at the moment, but expect to have another place down there soon (near David).
Think you chose wisely moving there!!
