in home computer i have AMD Athlon 2,6 but in laptop Centrino and i think both are really good. Laptop is running on battery usually for about 7 hours. (It depend if i'm using cdrom

If you have a good case and cpu cooler, go AMD. Better bang for the buck by far.
If you have a generic case (under $100 is usually a clue to being a cheap case) with no dual intake and dual exhaust fans you're looking for trouble with AMD. I should know, I had to change cases 3 times before shit stopped frying. I finally got an Antec SOHO server case. CPU hovers around 40c now and everything is stable.Comment
