What are the best ways to increase cardio?
Aside from running and walking. Do you do any other excercises? Breathing excercises? Anything involving weights?
For years I focused exclusively on muscle building at severe detriment to cardio. I haven't worked out in some time and I feel like my lungs have opened up and want to take advantage of it.
Is doing a lot of push-ups bad for cardio... does it tighten and restrict the chest? I used to do 60 push-ups per day and other activies because I liked building my chest.
Weights were used purely for aesthetics but I now want to be genuinely healthy and breathing right is a big part of that.
