Ya just can't beat the features on a Treo. It really is delicate though. If browsing is important, and it is, you can't beat it... but the new 02 is really hot. check it out as well.

I can't believe a thread was started about hot women in the industry and no one has mentioned Laura Lee from TCG.

voice quality of the treo is very, very good. voice quality was good on both bb 7290 and 7100r - though with the 7290's shape (it's actually quite small, just strangely shaped) i think you basically need to use a bluetooth headset for it if buying it... which bb are you thinking about? i wish i could try one out for a week to see if i want to switch. i really don't like the cheap feel of the treo.

I like the 7290's myself, thats the only one with bluetooth support as far as i can tell. The other 2 models I looked at (7280 and 7780) seemed almost identical (without bluetooth though). I agree with most of this.

The part I disagree with is your last sentence. Guys... we're weird. We'll say some girl is "hot", but she isn't necessarily girlfriend material. She's the kind of girl you just want to have fun with and get down and dirty with.

Then there's the girls that are girlfriend material. Not necessarily "hot", but they carry the characteristics that men want their wife/mother of their children to have.

That makes sense to me & I think women feel that way too. I know I can look at a guy & think he's hot, but couldn't imagine him as boyfriend or some times even friend material. The lack of a functioning brain can be turn off some times ;)

It's actually quite decent as a phone. Haven't had problems so far.

Depends what you're after. If it's e-mail/phone/basic browsing that you want then I wouldn't look much further, mostly because it handles those pretty well. It's not very good at loading fancy html pages, but if you just want to go to mapquest/google/scraped stats pages then you should be fine. It's also quite durable and won't break if you drop it. My BB went through much more abuse than I imagined possible.
I'm using an MPX phone now and the blasted thing crapped out on me after falling 2 feet. I can imagine you'd have the same problem with other fancy devices.
Also, I recently found out that you can use your blackberry as an external modem to plug into the laptop while on the road. (25mb/mo plan doesnt help tho)

Yup, in fact we got it to work with a Rogers sim card. But your BES needs to support it, so may want to check it with them. I didn't believe that it'd work till I saw it!

I haven't gotten ICQ/MSN/SSH to work on mine due to the internal firewall. Can't even use these on the desktop. IRC is working though (routing it through http gateway).
