You may have a valid point with the request for exclusivity right out of the gate however if I were a model answering an ad and someone came back with "Look we only work with exclusive models" or something to that effect I'd assume one of two things:
a. They were being polite in their refusal and banking on me not wanting to do exclusive
b. Only interested in exclusive models.
I am also going to go out on a limb and say that her initial contact warranted a polite "look we only deal in exclusive deals" in hopes that the crazy chick that could barely form a sentence (much less correct the spelling of another) would go away....
