Oh shit! Thats a damn good idea... I think I am gonna have to retrofit my van... this would be espically good for use on Exxon stations... they deserve to be ripped off more so than any of the others. But I wouldnt use alum pipe, I'd use flexable hose. Wouldnt want that pipe making all that noise and drawing attention... plus, hose would be faster when you wanted to pull out (pun intended) in case you needed to get moving right away. Also, what about buying and using an old U-haul truck... could probably hold several 55 gallon drums there... a take of 600 gallons at a time or so. A van could hold at most 200 gallons or so... a good take but not really enough to make it worthwhile. Also, if you had two or three pumps each with a feed hose, you could send three hoses down into the tank to fill three barrels at once, minimizing your exposure.
