Their sister newspaper - "The News of the World" is much the same. They tried a story on a model I knew - she never did porn in her life or even thought about it, tho did the usual topless stuff. Anyways, they carried a story about her working in a "massage parlor" in Central London. When we first saw this story in the press, we thought - shit, what's this secret life?
Then it turns out that she had never been in London for many months (lived about 150 miles outside) and it's totally out of character. She was genuinely stunned and not a happy girl over this. There was a legal suit prepared and in the end the "newspaper" settled on the court steps for around 250K UK pounds ($500K) and she bought a home and got married to her longtime boyfriend with the proceeds.
Let's see what happens with Linda next!
