I am on Safari and just got a popup on a mainstream site, I looked over the code but couldn't find exactly where it was coming from, and closed the window by mistake before really examining the code. I tried to get the popup again but so far no luck. Anyone have the code?
So who has the code to beat popup blocking

Why the fuck do you want it... I have Safari and am getting the odd pop up now too... I fucking hate it. If someone doesn't have or want to block pop ups thats one thing to pop users that have a blocker is messed up. -
I use popups on my 404, the only way for a surfer to get to my 404 page is by snooping around. It won't kill them to get a popup.Originally posted by abadfishWhy the fuck do you want it... clear your cache the popup is most likely set in the cookie.
I would assume the popup is not a real popup its a transparent overlay on the page that simply snags the first click on the page
But if you try these and see maybe you will get lucky.

I am not really sure what you mean about the popup being cached in the cookie though. The page was a type of search page that I use a lot, its not a search engine but it looks things up, I think the popup popped up after the search had completed and the page started loading. I don't know if that tells you anything about the kind of popup or transparent overlay it was or not though.
