Would You Promote A Shaving Sponsor?

Out of a choice of two sponsors who would you chose.
Knowing well that one of them shaves your signups.
And that you send 5k traffic to a sponsor a day

Sponsor A:
Converts 1:500 On 1st page hits. And pays $30pps
At 5k/day. Thats 10sales a day and $300.

Sponsor B:
Converts 1:275 on 1st page hits. And pays 30PPs
But shaves 20% of all sales.
At 5k/day you make ~ 18 sales. Only 14 are counted after the shave.
You make $420

Would you promote sponsor A over sponsor B because A doesnt shave.
Assuming these ratios kept steady.

Would you let your hatred towards shaving sponsors get in the way of making more money?

I've seen sponsor shaving - seen it in my stats, and still kept promoting them for another 3-4 months. To answer your question, I'd go with B.

PimpRoll invites any affiliate who wishes to, to do a test signup to verify the join/sales process.

As long as you inform us *after* the fact so that the sale can be removed from your payout, it's alright.

Better to put your mind at ease than be worried. If I wasnt allowed to do that with a sponsor if I wished to, I would be concerned I think.

Problem is that even if you know for a fact that sponsor B shaves, there is no way for you to know if sponsor A shaves as well, for all you know sponsor A could be shaving more than sponsor B. So picking the sponsor that sends you a higher paycheck is the way to go.

I have a similar situation... mine is a worse conversiojn with a higher payout. My ppc ends up being the same though, so fuck it, I guess... The first time it drops I am outta there though, so if said sponsor happens to read this - don't turn up the shaver :D lol fuckers...
