My best friend makes tatoo projects. He does great work, some of his arts are amazing. He is really cheap - his prices starts from 30$. He had situations, while buyer paid him 1000% of his price, just because his project was fuckin amazing..
So I think, yea, you should tip em if work is really good..

exactly...When I got my tattoo (piercing/tattoo place) I did it and a few weeks later I got a piercing (tip again) and bought a few other things that came out totally free (tip < cost of free things) so you don't loose anything doing it.Originally posted by Pete-KTYES tipp them because next time you go to get another one they will remember if u did or not

i feel bad i got my tattoo last night ($225) and only had 230 so i only gave him a $5 tipComment

Then you should have done a little more investigating of his past works. A good tattoo artist doesn't turn skill on and off. A good tattoo artist produces good tattoos. If you convey what you are looking for properly, have checked his past work and haven't pissed him off, things should always turn out right.Originally posted by JayJayWhat If you didn't like his work?
As far as tip goes, I always tip ATLEAST 15% on the entire price of the tattoo. More if I am so inclined but never less than that.Comment

Well said.Originally posted by Fletch XXXif you tip anyone in your life, it better be your tat artist.
shame on anyone who doesnt.SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.Comment

That?s like anything in life itself.......do your homework....investigate.....you wouldn?t want someone who just passed the bar to defend you for double homicide or an intern conduct your double bypass surgery.Comment
